1. The original bloody Sunday enquiry.
2. The recent 'Hutton Report' on Dr Kelly.

1.The original bloody sunday enquiry was a travesty, clearing the Paras of massacring protestors during the Irish troubles.
Mr Hutton was the barrister who represented the British Army for this Inquiry.
To put it very politely.
Only a rock solid establishment insider would get this job, especially at that point in 'The Troubles'.

2. The Government picks Mr Hutton for the Kelly Inquiry. Uh oh.
Some of this stuff is pretty obvious, even to outsiders.

We know that Blair denied any involvement in the leaking of Kelly's name yet chaired a meeting which decided to do just that.

We know the Sept Dossier was changed in a way that made the case for war.

We know that several people inside the Intelligence community complained about the bias in the dossier.

And lo and behold! Teflon Tony is completely exonerated!
And its all the BBC's fault!

Footnote:
I would be inclined to agree with Huttons conclusion about Andrew Gilligan being a bit iffy, what journalist isn't.
